Vera is a Chartered Certified Accountant and licensed Insolvency Practitioner.

Having started her insolvency career at the height of the recession in the early 90’s, Vera is experienced in many different types of insolvency appointments across a variety of sectors.

Following a move to The Macdonald Partnership (now known as TMP) Vera became increasingly involved in turnaround work, working with businesses ranging from a local corner shop to those turning over in excess of £10 million. In 1999 she moved to BDO Stoy Hayward where she became involved with larger clients.

Vera also has extensive experience in dealing with individuals who are facing financial difficulty and tailoring IVAs that are acceptable to both the debtor and creditors.

Vera was inspired to form BRS with her partners in response to the ever changing insolvency market. With businesses having an increasing number of stakeholders, Vera believes that they should, wherever possible, be supported to trade themselves out of financial difficulty.

Outside of work Vera enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and has recently enjoyed a trip to Ghana with them. She also spends time at the cinema.
